A location can be a city, town, place, national park, feature, beach or even an event. A resort, places to see, things to do and even hotel accommodation can be included as a location.

The list of contenders for Top 100 Locations will be shown under the region it is located.

Near the end of each year, Top 100 Locations World Wide will update the list of the Top 100 Locations from votes received from this web site and other information which includes internet resources, reviews and ratings, and tourism information publications.
